Dr. Nayla Abi Nader, a member of the Board of Delegates at the Lebanese University, pointed out that "the strike was lifted in May because the government moved to a caretaker role," adding, "The current strike is due to rapid and significant collapse." In an interview with "Voice of Lebanon," she stated, "Students are our priority, but the educational staff is collapsing." She continued, "Starving people is not the solution, and teachers did not stop teaching even during COVID-19." She emphasized that "the cry for dignity is the strongest, and we cannot do more than what we are doing; we are not against students... our case is a national issue, and students and parents must stand by us."
