Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein has issued a decision to transfer Iraqi Ambassador to Lebanon Haidar Al-Baraak from the embassy in Beirut to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Iraq. According to mtv, this decision came after a stir over circulated images of the Iraqi ambassador in Lebanon launching an RPG while surrounded by armed individuals in a Lebanese area. The Lebanese Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, had sent a letter to the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants to take appropriate actions upon verifying the accuracy of the images. It was confirmed that the Iraqi ambassador visited the town of Taria on July 11, 2022, along with several young men and his aides, and discharged ammunition using various types of military weapons.
