Coalition: Precise Strike on Legitimate Military Targets in Sana'a

The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced early Tuesday that it conducted precise strikes on legitimate military targets in Sana'a. The coalition stated, "We destroyed sites linked to ballistic missiles and drones within Sana'a."

The coalition clarified that "the targets included storage facilities and workshops for assembling ballistic missiles and drones," adding, "We destroyed mountain caves and secret stores for ballistic missiles on the outskirts of Sana'a." It also confirmed that the operation was a response to the threat and aggressive behavior of attempts to target civilians. The coalition had previously urged civilians not to gather or approach the targeted locations.

### Violent Explosions

Additionally, sources from "Al Arabiya/Al Hadath" reported violent explosions following the coalition's bombardment of various sites in Sana'a. It is noteworthy that the coalition had announced on Sunday evening the execution of airstrikes on legitimate military targets in Sana'a in response to the threat, stating, "The strikes in Sana'a came in response to the threat and attempts to target civilians."

### Three Operational Centers

It was further explained that "the strikes destroyed three operational centers belonging to the Houthi militia in Sana'a," pointing out that "the destroyed operational centers were linked to the launch of missiles and drones on Sunday morning." The coalition emphasized that the operation is consistent with international humanitarian law and its customary rules, adding: "We took preventive measures to spare civilians and civilian objects in Sana'a from collateral damage." The coalition again urged civilians not to gather or approach the targeted sites.

### Military Base

Since Sunday, November 28, the coalition has carried out a number of strikes on sites in Sana'a, most notably the airport, after revealing through images and videos that it had been converted by the militias into a military base for members of the Revolutionary Guard and Hezbollah. The coalition also revealed the targeting of significant operational centers for specific objectives at the Dailami base linked to Sana'a airport, which include facilities for assembling and rigging drones, as well as underground launch platforms for ballistic missiles.
