Bayern Munich, the German football league champion, officially announced the signing of Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt from Italian club Juventus. The official Bayern Munich account on Twitter posted a picture of De Ligt along with the caption: "Matthijs de Ligt at Bayern until 2027!"
The Bavarian club welcomed their Dutch defender with a video shared on their account, commenting: "Welcome to our wonderful city, De Ligt!"
Bayern Munich explained in an official statement that De Ligt underwent medical examinations and signed contracts with Bayern Munich until the summer of 2027. According to "Sky Sport Italia," De Ligt transferred to Bayern Munich for a fee of 70 million euros, plus an additional 10 million euros in variables.
