On Saturday, the Yemeni National Army liberated strategic locations in the Qatabah District, north of Al-Dhalea Governorate, in southern Yemen, during battles in which the Houthi rebel militia suffered significant losses in lives and equipment. A military commander in the Al-Dhalea axis reported that army forces, supported by popular resistance, launched a surprise assault on the positions of the Houthi militia in the Al-Fakher front, west of Qatabah District, according to Yemen's "September Net" news site. He confirmed that the Yemeni National Army successfully liberated strategic areas including the village of Al-Fakher, its market, Shaab Al-Ma’ water, Habib Al-Abdi, and the Bait Al-Sharji triangle, among other strategic sites. The confrontations resulted in the death of 35 Houthi militia members, including field leaders, and injured others, in addition to the destruction of their combat vehicles.
