Pep Guardiola, the coach of English club Manchester City, has rejected an offer to sign Neymar Jr., the star of Paris Saint-Germain. The newspaper "Le Parisien" revealed that the Parisian club offered Neymar to City officials as part of a swap deal to acquire Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva. The report added, "However, Guardiola rejected the idea of bringing in Neymar to maintain the team's tactical balance on the field."
The newspaper noted an internal conflict at PSG regarding Neymar (30 years old), with the club owner and management wanting to sell him, while the player is keen on staying with the team. Neymar is aware that clubs capable of matching his astronomical salary of around €30 million are not lining up.
