Title: The Forces: We Face Six Catastrophic Years in This Case

The head of the media and communication apparatus in the Lebanese Forces party, Charles Jabbour, pointed out that Hezbollah is fighting to remain in power because it considers this to provide cover for it. He stated that when the March 8 team governed the country, it led to collapse. Jabbour told MTV: "The majority is no longer with Hezbollah, and the opposition is diverse and varied. We need to work on unifying it, as there is a historical responsibility for everyone in the council today; hence we extend our hand to the forces of change." Regarding the presidential election, he noted that it is "crucial," stating, "If the March 8 team gains the presidency, we are facing six catastrophic years; if we win it, we will have set the country on the path to rescue." He added: "We are betting that we can elect a president capable of restoring authority and limiting the influence of the statelet over the state. We have a historic opportunity today." He concluded by saying: "We are dealing with a group that wants to eradicate us and our identity. The problem in Lebanon is Hezbollah, and we must fight it within the framework of institutions, as it settles some personal scores by exploiting the judiciary. Judge Akiki should have been dismissed."
