Moscow Declares State of Emergency Due to Heat

The Meteorological Center in the Russian capital, Moscow, has declared an "orange" alert due to a heatwave. A statement released by the center and published on its official website stated: "The intensity of dangerous phenomena is 'orange', meaning the weather is dangerous." The warning for extreme heat, reaching 30-32 degrees, will remain in effect in Moscow for 6 hours.
