Russia Warns: Sanctions Will Lead to the Fall of the International Space Station

The head of the Russian space agency "Roscosmos," Dmitry Rogozin, announced on Saturday that the Western sanctions imposed on Russia could cause the fall of the International Space Station, calling for the lifting of these measures. Rogozin stated that the sanctions would disrupt the operation of Russian spacecraft that supply the International Space Station, affecting the Russian segment of the station, which particularly allows for orbit adjustments. He added that "this could lead to the 500-ton International Space Station descending either 'on land' or 'in the sea'."
