Video: 19 Dead Including Children in One of the Worst Fires in American History

A fire that broke out yesterday, Sunday, in a high-rise residential building in the Bronx, New York, resulted in the deaths of at least 19 people, including 9 children, with dozens injured. Smoke rose through the building, which has 19 floors, after the fire started in a duplex apartment on the second and third floors, according to firefighters. Victims were found on every floor of the brick building, as reported by "Euronews." The fire is considered by the new mayor, Eric Adams, to be "one of the worst" in the city's modern history, and indeed the worst in America in recent memory.
