Biden Back in the Spotlight with a Strange Situation

A strange situation confronted U.S. President Joe Biden when he was awarding medals to Vietnam War heroes, forcing him to pin the medals on the honorees from behind. From the outside, it appeared odd and perhaps somewhat amusing, as it is customary to present the medal face to face. However, the Vietnam War heroes handled the situation with normalcy. This is not the first time the President of the United States has found himself in strange situations, whether it be trying to find his way off the stage after a speech or reaching out to shake hands with thin air. Recently, attention has been drawn to a piece of paper on camera that contained step-by-step instructions for the president, including where to go, where to sit, and where to stand, among other things.
