Diplomatic sources have confirmed to "Al-Liwaa" that Saudi Ambassador Walid Bukhari will return to Beirut within the next few days, after concluding ongoing Saudi-French talks in Jeddah regarding the operational framework of the joint Saudi-French fund, which has a capital equally contributed by both countries amounting to 72 million euros. It has been reported that Bukhari's return will coincide with the announcement of a long-awaited new Saudi initiative, which involves removing Lebanon from the list of countries whose citizens are required to spend fifteen days in a third country before traveling to Saudi Arabia. This means that travel between the two countries will return to its previous momentum just before the start of the summer season.
