An explosion at a French factory producing a compound used in gunpowder has resulted in the injury of eight people, one of whom is in critical condition, according to officials. The explosion occurred in a building at the Manukor factory in Bergerac, located in the Dordogne region of southwestern France, involving highly flammable nitrocellulose, which is used in ammunition production.
