Minister of Public Works and Transport in the caretaker government, Dr. Ali Hamieh, tweeted via his Twitter account: "The Syrian ship LAODICEA coming from the Russian Federation, passing through Lebanon to Syria, has been allowed to depart by the leadership of the Port of Tripoli, in accordance with Lebanese legal procedures, based on our sovereignty over our land, sea, and air."
