France has called for an investigation into the killing of Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, who was shot while covering an Israeli military operation in Jenin in the occupied West Bank.
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in an online press conference that "France demands a transparent investigation as soon as possible to shed full light on the circumstances of this tragedy."
