Klopp Talks About Mohamed Salah's "Leadership Role" with the Egyptian National Team

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp spoke about star Mohamed Salah's leadership skills within the Egyptian national team. The official Liverpool page on Facebook quoted Klopp saying, "Yesterday when the coach of the Egyptian national team was sent off, I saw Salah talking to the players and the whole group." He added, "All these leading things that (Mohamed Salah) acquires make us very happy." Through his comments, it seems that Klopp was following the match held yesterday evening between the Egyptian national team and Cameroon in the semifinals of the Africa Cup. Egyptian followers took Klopp's remarks as an opportunity to urge him, through their comments on the post, to renew "Mo Salah's" contract. One of them said, "So what about renewing the contract and the captain's armband?"; another mentioned, "Don't forget to renew Salah's contract and the captaincy for Liverpool." The Egyptian national team secured their place in the "AFCON" final last night after winning against Cameroon in a penalty shootout.
