The Rashid Stadium at Al Ahli Dubai Club hosted the semi-final match of the UAE Arabian Gulf Cup between Al Wasl Club and its host, Al Ahli Dubai Club.

In this match, Al Ahli Dubai Club qualified for the Arabian Gulf Cup final after defeating Al Wasl 3-1 in the second leg of the semi-finals, having also won the first leg at Al Wasl's stadium 2-0.

Al Wasl started the match with a strong offensive push to score, as they needed nothing less than a win. The hosts took advantage of the empty spaces behind the visiting defenders and scored a goal with a header from Argentine Kartabia in the 11th minute, following a cross from Jalaluddin Masharipov.

Kartabia returned to score his second goal against Al Wasl in the 52nd minute, assisted by a magical pass from his teammate Carlos Eduardo, placing him face-to-face with the Al Wasl goalkeeper, and he shot it low into the far corner.

Al Ahli Dubai player Igor Jesus ended Al Wasl's hopes definitively with a third goal in the 62nd minute, scoring with a powerful header after another cross from Jalaluddin Masharipov, leading Al Wasl to completely surrender and the pace of the match began to decline.

Mohammed Marzouk forcefully tackled substitute Abdul Rahman Saleh, resulting in the referee awarding a penalty after reviewing the video technology. Fabio De Lima successfully converted it, scoring a goal for Al Wasl in the 71st minute.

It is worth noting that the final of the UAE Arabian Gulf Cup, scheduled for April 6, will be the second final between Al Ahli and Al Nasr, after both qualified for the Emirates President's Cup final a few weeks ago, which is expected to take place in early May.
