Security forces have reportedly dismantled a network linked to former Syrian regime officers and Hezbollah, which was involved in training and housing individuals from Syria's coastal region. These individuals were being equipped with weapons, explosives, and drones to carry out security operations in Syria.
Details reveal that a former Syrian officer, identified as Ali Safi, was coordinating with Hezbollah leaders and Syrian officials in Moscow for planning, financing, training, and execution.
Sources disclosed that security personnel confiscated large quantities of explosives and weapons at a location frequented by network members in Akkar. Five individuals involved have been arrested, and investigations are ongoing to apprehend the Hezbollah elements involved.
