Seismic monitoring stations in Egypt recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 on the Richter scale southeast of the city of Dahab in South Sinai. According to a statement from the National Institute for Astronomical Research, no reports of casualties or property damage have been received. The statement indicated that the earthquake was recorded at a depth of 15 kilometers, 20 kilometers southeast of Dahab at exactly 6:10 AM.
