The Ministry of Industry issued a statement setting the price ceiling for a ton of black cement (factory gate) at one million six hundred and ninety thousand Lebanese pounds, effective from tomorrow, Wednesday, May 11, 2022, until May 17, 2022, inclusive. The aforementioned price does not include value-added tax. The Ministry of Industry will determine the price of cement weekly through issued reports.
