The British newspaper "The Times" commented on the Russian war against Ukraine and the stance taken by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in its editorial published today, Saturday. The newspaper began its commentary by stating that "Zelensky has consistently shown a capacity reminiscent of British leader Winston Churchill in choosing the right words to reassure his fearful citizens, urge them to resist, rally international support, while simultaneously keeping the door open for negotiations with (Russian President Vladimir) Putin."
The London newspaper added that Zelensky has thus "undoubtedly won the information war, as reflected in the 141 votes in favor of condemning the Russian attack at the United Nations General Assembly last week, compared to four votes supporting Russia."
The newspaper concluded its commentary by stating that Zelensky has become "a source of inspiration for people outside Ukraine, as evidenced by the notable demonstrations across Europe and the West calling for support for Ukraine."
