Shooting Near Army Checkpoint: Response in Kind

The Army Command announced via Twitter that while a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate was pursuing a vehicle occupied by three individuals, including a wanted person who recently killed Sergeant Ali Qais, the vehicle, upon reaching the Harabta checkpoint, initiated gunfire towards the soldiers. The military personnel were compelled to respond in kind, resulting in injuries of varying degrees to those who fired.
