Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani affirmed that the formation of a government is an internal matter, and Qatar maintains good relations with all parties involved.
According to Al Jazeera, Al Thani expressed Qatar's support for any path that leads to the formation of a government in Lebanon, noting that all countries we are currently communicating with support the establishment of a government in Lebanon. The Qatari Foreign Minister clarified that his country does not seek to undermine the French initiative but works to continue international efforts to form a government, hoping that the Lebanese parties will establish a government as soon as possible in line with the interests of the people.
Al Thani stated that "His Highness the Emir of Qatar sends a message of support to the Lebanese and urges prioritizing national interest over personal interests."
The Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani arrived today at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut, where he was welcomed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants in the caretaker government Charbel Wehbe, the Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammed Hassan Jaber, and the Director of Protocol at the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Abeer Al Ali.
