Title: Between the Mufti and Mikati: A Call and a Visit

The Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Deryan, made a call to President Najib Mikati, congratulating him on being tasked with forming the government and wishing him success and prosperity in his duties "in achieving the revival of the nation in various fields, activating the work of official institutions, and carrying out the required reforms." In the afternoon, the designated president visited the Mufti of the Lebanese Republic at his residence. They then proceeded to perform the Friday prayer at the Prince Munder Mosque in downtown Beirut.
