A number of Lebanese individuals blocked roads in various areas of Mount Lebanon, the North, and the South last night, in protest against the deteriorating living conditions and the rising exchange rate of the dollar. The protesters chanted slogans calling for the resignation of the ruling authority, while the Lebanese army was deployed in the area. It is worth noting that Lebanon is suffering from an economic crisis, a reduction in the flow of financial remittances from abroad, an increase in public debt, and a surge in the exchange rate of the dollar against the Lebanese pound, with the dollar reaching 32,000 Lebanese pounds. Additionally, the purchasing power of the Lebanese has declined due to rising prices and the collapse of the pound's value.
