Japan Resumes Oil Imports from Russia

The Japanese Ministry of Finance has confirmed that Tokyo resumed oil imports from Russia in July. However, the volume of imports decreased by 65% compared to the same month in 2021. According to a press release from the ministry, reported by "Russia Today," the volume of Russian oil imports dropped by 65.4% compared to July 2021. Additionally, a 26.1% decrease in the volume of liquefied natural gas imports was recorded during this period.
