The specialist notes in a televised interview that adhering to a specific routine helps effectively deal with headaches and migraines. She states, "When we talk about a routine, we don't just mean sticking to a specific sleep and wake time, although that is very important, as too little or too much sleep can cause migraines. It is also essential to maintain a work and rest schedule, as well as regular meal times."

She adds that headaches can be caused by psychological stress, hunger, lack of sleep or excess sleep, as well as stale air and flashing lights. Certain foods and drinks, such as hard cheese, red wine, and sparkling wine, can also be contributors. She notes that headaches may result from excessive coffee consumption, advising not to drink more than four cups of coffee a day. However, coffee can help in rare cases of headaches and migraines.

She states, "Physical exertion can increase headaches. Therefore, if a person is experiencing a headache or migraine, they should rest. However, aerobic exercise between headache episodes has a good preventive effect against pain." The specialist recommends undergoing cognitive-behavioral therapy in cases of chronic headaches, which can help overcome psychological stress and eliminate nervous tension that triggers headaches.
