Hertha Berlin Officially Signs Star Sami Khedira

German club Hertha Berlin has officially signed Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira on Monday, just before the winter transfer window closed, with a contract lasting two and a half years.

Hertha Berlin's official Twitter account announced the signing, highlighting Khedira's impressive accolades, which include a World Cup, a Champions League title, a Bundesliga title, a La Liga title, a Serie A title, two Copa del Rey trophies, and three Coppa Italia titles.

It is noteworthy that Sami Khedira had refused to terminate his contract early in the current season but subsequently reached an agreement to end his contract with Juventus, which was due to expire in June. Khedira was also excluded from Juventus's Champions League squad for the 2020-2021 season and did not participate in any official matches for Juventus under coach Andrea Pirlo. His last match with Juventus was against AC Milan in June 2020.
