A video has circulated on social media showing the moments when the famous Afghan comedian, Nazar Mohammad, was taken by the Taliban from his home before being killed. The video shows Taliban militants slapping and harassing the well-known comedian Khasha Zwan days after he was found dead in a war-torn country.
The shocking footage, posted on Twitter on Tuesday, depicts armed Taliban members slapping and bothering the Kandahari comedian Nazar Mohammad, known as "Khasha Zwan," on social media following the discovery of his murder by “unknown” gunmen. Local Afghan media reported last week that Khasha was arrested from his house on Thursday night and then killed.
According to a local news agency, the family of the comedian, who had served in the Kandahar police, blamed the Taliban for the murder, though the group had previously denied any involvement in the incident. Reports suggest that the extremist group arrested Khasha last Thursday, tied him to a tree, and slaughtered him, with the well-known comedian found lying on the ground with his throat slit. This brutal killing of Khasha by the Taliban came at a time when the group launched one of its worst attacks in Afghanistan.
