Libya: Curfew Imposed in Some Areas to Combat COVID-19

The Libyan Government of National Unity announced on Monday the imposition of a two-week curfew in some areas experiencing an increase in COVID-19 cases. The curfew will take effect starting July 27 in selected municipalities in the western and central regions of the country. The government stated that the curfew will be in effect from 6 PM to 6 AM, during which all commercial activities will be closed, while public security institutions and medical services will remain open.
