The Minister of Public Works and Transport in the caretaker government, Ali Hamieh, confirmed that "the duty-free bidding at the airport through the Tender Management will take place this week," noting that "the bids will be opened on Thursday, the 14th of this month."
He mentioned that "the starting price is 850 billion L.L. per passenger, equivalent to $3.5. Interested parties can view and obtain the terms of reference through the Directorate General of Civil Aviation."
He clarified that "those with any inquiries should send them in writing according to the proper procedures."
