Bullying Against Her: The President Accompanies a Little Girl to Class

In recent days, the story of a little girl named Embla, who has Down syndrome, has spread widely on social media and news outlets. The young girl captured hearts after being bullied at her school in a city in Macedonia. This prompted the country's president, Stevo Pendarovski, to take the hand of 11-year-old Embla Ademi and accompany her to the elementary school where the bullying incident occurred in the city of Gostivar. He emphasized that the behavior of those who jeopardize children's rights is unacceptable.

The president's office revealed in a press statement that Pendarovski spoke with Embla's parents about the challenges she and her family face on a daily basis and discussed potential solutions. Additionally, he assured that individuals in this category will enjoy the rights they deserve and will also feel equality and welcome within the school and its grounds.

A video shared by the presidential office showed Pendarovski sitting with Embla's family after giving her gifts, until he bid her farewell. He encouraged the family to continue their journey, expressing admiration for their struggles and committing to work to protect the rights of these children.
