Representative of fuel distributors Fadi Abu Chakra confirmed that "the circulating information in the market about the shortage of gasoline and the intention of stations to close tomorrow is incorrect," adding that "the distribution of gasoline to the markets yesterday is sufficient for citizens over the weekend."

In an interview with "An-Nahar," he pointed out that "the substance is available throughout all Lebanese territories, and the new fuel price list will be issued after the elections."

The price of a 95-octane gasoline canister today is 507,000 Lebanese pounds, and it may rise after the elections if securing dollars for imports through the "Sayrafa" platform fails, leading to a reliance on the black dollar market.
