Current and former U.S. officials stated that Biden administration officials are in discussions with the Saudis to arrange a potential in-person meeting while Biden is abroad next month. Sources indicated that "Saudi Arabia currently holds the presidency of the Gulf Cooperation Council, so any meeting between Biden and bin Salman is likely to coincide with a Gulf Cooperation Council meeting in Riyadh."
