Hassan El Raddad Emerges With a Sad and Tired Expression After His Mother's Passing

Egyptian artist Hassan El Raddad has reemerged after a two-month absence due to mourning for his mother, Fadia El Raddad, who passed away on January 9th.

Egyptian poet and screenwriter Ayman Bahgat Qamar shared behind-the-scenes photos from the filming of the movie "Under Threat of Fire" on his personal Facebook page, where El Raddad was seen sitting with the crew. He wrote in the post: "Thank God today is the first day of filming 'Under Threat of Fire,' written by me and directed by Mohamed Hamaki, starring: Hassan El Raddad - Fathy Abdel Wahab - Mai Omar - Sherine Reda - Bayoumi Fouad - Ahmed Badir - Abbas Abou El Hassan. Your prayers please... oh God, make it easy."

Hassan El Raddad's first appearance after his absence showed clear signs of sorrow, as he had grown his hair and beard, indicating he had not fully overcome his grief. Reactions from the public on the photos shared across social media were sympathetic towards El Raddad, with one prominent comment stating, "A man remains a child until his mother dies; when she dies, he suddenly grows old."

Hassan had previously apologized for some of his upcoming projects due to the difficult circumstances he faced following his mother's death, including the series "Against the Break" featuring actress Nelly Karim. He also expressed regrets about not participating in the upcoming Ramadan season. The artist expressed his love and longing for his late mother by sharing photos, videos, and memories with her on his social media pages, writing under his name on Instagram: "Son of a great mother." Notably, Hassan had taken on family responsibilities at a young age after his father's passing, artist Nabil El Raddad, due to the grief over the death of his brother Fadi, who died in a tragic car accident in front of Hassan, deeply affecting him.
