Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid: Countries Advance through Knowledge and Dedication, Not Dreamy Promises

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to preparing new generations of future leaders, as they are the backbone of the country's progress and the most important guarantee of its revival, and to confirming its worthiness as a model for a modern state capable of competing globally. His Highness stated that managing governments is a science, managing policies is a science, and governmental innovation is a science. The advancement of nations does not happen by chance, but rather through the right knowledge, understanding, and dedication, not through grand speeches and dreamy promises. This was mentioned during His Highness's attendance at the graduation ceremony for the seventh and eighth cohorts of master's degree students from the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government for the years 2020 and 2021, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre. His Highness said: "We have national academic institutions with global capabilities.. excellence and success in the future will belong to those who possess the knowledge, skills, and tools that enable them to turn goals into practical achievements.. and knowledge will always remain the first pillar and the most important bridge to reach the desired future of progress, development, and prosperity for the nation." The ceremony witnessed the graduation of 285 graduates in various specializations of management, innovation, and public policy master's programs.
