The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has advised against travel to 22 countries and regions, including Israel, Australia, Egypt, Albania, Argentina, and Uruguay, due to rising COVID-19 cases. The CDC has elevated its travel warning to "Level Four: Very High" and informed Americans to avoid travel to these countries, which also include Panama, Qatar, the Bahamas, Bahrain, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Turks and Caicos Islands, Suriname, Saint Lucia, and Bolivia. Overall, the CDC now lists slightly over 100 countries and regions at Level Four. Additionally, it has raised 20 other countries to "Level Three: High," including Uganda, Kuwait, Jamaica, Costa Rica, and Cuba. The CDC recommends that unvaccinated Americans avoid non-essential travel to these destinations.
