His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, made a phone call to his brother, His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. During the call, he welcomed the ceasefire in Gaza and expressed the UAE's support for Egypt's efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in the region.
He praised the Egyptian efforts that led to the ceasefire in the sector and highlighted the important humanitarian role played by President Sisi in calming the situation and saving the lives of innocent civilians. His Highness emphasized the need for further efforts, particularly from Israeli and Palestinian leaders, affirming that the UAE is prepared to work with all parties to maintain the ceasefire and explore new avenues for de-escalation and achieving peace.
