The wireless mapping company "Opensignal" has published the results of its analysis of 5G network speeds globally, indicating that two Arab cities are among the fastest networks in the world. According to data released by "Statista," the cities of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia and Dubai in the UAE ranked in this list.
South Korea's Gwangju took the first place, followed by Hsinchu City in Taiwan, then Riyadh, followed by Dubai, with Tokyo, Japan, in fifth place. The analysis showed that the 5G experience in these leading cities was significantly better than the national average in their respective countries, as a city ranked sixteenth among the largest cities in South Korea had faster 5G network speeds than any city worldwide, with residents enjoying an astonishing average download speed of 415.6 Mbps. This is 15% faster than the average speeds in South Korea.
Meanwhile, the city of Hsinchu in Taiwan boasts the second-fastest 5G download speed at 360.1 Mbps, with the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, ranking third with an average of 317.3 Mbps.
