A decree for naturalization is being prepared in Lebanon, which reportedly involves the sale of 4,000 Lebanese passports at a price ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 euros. The French newspaper "Libération" has considered this a new example of corruption in Lebanon. It is noteworthy that one Arab newspaper had published an article weeks ago about a decree for naturalization in preparation, without any official authority denying it. It should be mentioned that a naturalization decree was issued years ago during President Michel Aoun’s tenure, and if a decree is issued, as rumored, it would be the second during President Aoun's term.
