Spartak Moscow Signs Dutch Player Quincy Promes

Dutch international Quincy Promes, a 29-year-old star from Ajax Amsterdam, has arrived in Moscow to sign a contract with Spartak Moscow, as announced by the club today.

The official account of Spartak Moscow on Twitter shared a photo of Quincy upon his arrival in Moscow today for the contract signing, with the caption: "We’ve been waiting for this picture! Quincy is in Moscow."

Quincy Promes previously played with Spartak from 2014 to 2018, winning the league title and the super cup with the Russian capital club, before moving to Sevilla in Spain and then to Ajax in 2019, where he was contracted until June 30, 2024. Ajax Amsterdam announced the departure of Quincy from the club, joining Spartak on loan until the end of the season with an obligation to buy in the summer for 8.5 million euros, plus an additional 2.5 million in variables.

During his time at Ajax, Quincy played 53 matches in various competitions and scored 22 goals. Notably, Quincy Promes has represented the Dutch national team 47 times, scoring seven goals.
