In the context of following up on the maintenance and operation of the Naameh landfill, the efforts made by the Democratic Gathering, in cooperation with the government's commissioner at the Council for Development and Reconstruction, Ziad Nasr, have led to the return of the maintenance and service company for the Naameh landfill to work. This is the "Mouaid" company, which is responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of the landfill, after being suspended for 7 months due to changes in prices and the subsequent halt in payments to the company, as noted by MP Bilal Abdullah. Regarding the reoperation of the Naameh power plant, Abdullah confirmed in a call with "Anbaa" electronic news that "the head of the Democratic Gathering bloc, MP Taymour Jumblatt, is personally following up on this issue, and the Naameh power plant will soon resume operations."
