The British Met Office has warned of strong winds in eastern England, including London, ahead of the arrival of Storm Eunice, one of the worst storms in decades, urging citizens to stay indoors. The official weather service in the UK has issued a red warning, indicating a danger to life from flying debris, for parts of southwest England and south Wales, starting this Friday morning, as rail passengers in London are cautioned against traveling. Hundreds of schools will be closed, and all train services in Wales will be suspended, with the military placed on standby. Meteorologists have warned that Storm Eunice could bring winds of up to 90 miles per hour, causing significant disruption and power outages. Eunice is the second storm to hit the UK within a week, following Storm Dudley, which affected parts of Scotland, northern England, and Northern Ireland, leaving thousands of homes without electricity.
