Dr. Joe Saloum, the head of the Pharmacists' Order of Lebanon, stated in a statement that there has been much discussion in recent hours regarding the distribution of a certain quantity of infant milk formula to pharmacies. The Order wants to emphasize that pharmacists are committed to delivering all received milk formula cans to citizens, regardless of the quantity delivered to them and the time needed to meet market demand. He added, “From the inspection of the pharmacies, it appears that the average number of milk cans distributed so far does not exceed 30 cans of milk per pharmacy, of various types and ages. We hope that more will be delivered to adequately meet citizens' needs.”
