Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, forward for the English football team Manchester United, has pledged to cover the damages resulting from the crash of his expensive Italian "Bugatti" car. Ronaldo's car, a "Bugatti Veyron," valued at around £1.7 million, was crashed by one of his personal security guards, who lost control of the vehicle, leading to a collision with a house.
Ronaldo promised to pay all the expenses needed by the homeowner, whose name has not been disclosed. The homeowner stated, "I went to Ronaldo's house and was met by a polite man and woman, who promised me on behalf of Ronaldo that they would cover all the costs for the damages I faced due to the Bugatti accident.”
He added, "They told me to fix everything and keep the receipts. I suffered; my water meter was broken in the incident, and I couldn’t live normally since then; the door hinges flew off, and some concrete from the house's columns was destroyed."
