Today, Thursday, producer Issam Emam, brother of the Egyptian artist Adel Emam, clarified the rumors about the death of the "Leader." In statements to the "Sada El-Balad" website, Adel Emam's brother confirmed that "the Leader is fine, and everything published about his health condition is untrue." This statement comes after news spread in recent hours about the death of artist Adel Emam due to the deterioration of his health, which made the name of the prominent artist trend in search engines. His brother also mentioned that "Adel Emam is well with his family and grandchildren, and all the reports regarding his death are mere unfounded rumors."
It is worth noting that this is not the first time artist Adel Emam has faced such rumors, as similar claims about his death and COVID-19 infection have circulated in the past. For the last few years, rumors of illness and death have followed Adel Emam, including in March 2020 when he personally denied these rumors, stating on the TV program "El-Hekaya" broadcast on "MBC Misr" that he had a common cold and questioning, "Why do you want me to die?"
Earlier, Issam Emam announced that he and his brother Adel Emam are preparing for a new movie titled "El-Wad We Abouh," which will also star Mohamed Emam, the younger son of the comedic actor. With the film "El-Wad We Abouh," Adel Emam will return to the cinema screen after a 12-year absence since his last film "Zahaymer."
