"Socialist Party Expresses Gratitude to Iraq"

A statement from the Media Commission of the "Progressive Socialist Party" reads: "In light of the significant suffering experienced by Lebanon and the Lebanese due to the escalating crisis in the electricity sector, and amid the absence of any serious measures to reform this sector by the concerned authorities, the Progressive Socialist Party extends its gratitude to the brotherly Iraq and its Prime Minister, Mr. Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, for announcing the provision of a new shipment of fuel to Lebanon, which contributes to alleviating the hardships faced by the Lebanese people. Special thanks are also due to the efforts of General Security Chief Major General Abbas Ibrahim, which have yielded positive results in this regard."
