The newspaper "Marca" reported that Argentine Lionel Messi plans to invest in the world of football by purchasing shares in the American club Inter Miami. The current Paris Saint-Germain star is linked with a move to Major League Soccer after ending his career in European football, and Inter Miami is particularly interested in signing him, noting that this club is currently owned by English football legend David Beckham. According to a report from DirecTV, Lionel Messi will remain with Paris Saint-Germain for one more season before leaving the club in the summer of 2023, and his expected final destination is Major League Soccer. The report adds that the 34-year-old player will move to play for Inter Miami, but before doing so, he plans to purchase 35% of the club's shares as his first experience as an investor in the club world. Jorge Mas, the CEO of Inter Miami, told the "Miami Herald" in February: "Leo Messi is still one of the best players in the world, and his skills have not diminished."
