Ronaldo in First Interview: This is Ferguson's Role in the Historic Comeback

In Cristiano Ronaldo's first interview after his transfer to Manchester United, the Portuguese star revealed the role of legendary coach Alex Ferguson in the "historic comeback." Speaking with the Manchester United website, Ronaldo expressed his excitement to play in front of the "Red Devils" fans and his ambition to win titles.

**Ferguson's Role**

Ronaldo stated, "As everyone knows, since I signed with Manchester at the age of 18, Sir (Alex Ferguson) played a key role. I remember when we played against Manchester United while I was at Sporting Lisbon. Sir Alex Ferguson is like a father in football to me." He added, "He helped me a lot, and of course, he had a big role because of the relationship we had. We are always in touch. I really love him a lot, and he was the key factor for me to be where I am now by signing with Manchester United."

**The New Coach**

Ronaldo had previously played with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who is now his new coach at Manchester United. Ronaldo said, "We had a conversation, but of course, I will have time to speak with him face-to-face to understand what he expects from me. I played with him for two or three years at Manchester United, so I have a good relationship with him, but now with a different role; I am a player, and he is a coach." He continued, "My relationship with him is great, and as I said before, I am here in Manchester to help the team achieve the desired results, and the coach can rely on me for whatever he wants. Therefore, I am available for everything."

Regarding the wide Manchester United fanbase, Ronaldo confirmed, "I clearly remember that they still sing my song, which makes me even happier. My responsibility is to give everything on the pitch as I did before, all the time, and I try my best to help the team score and win, and I hope to see them very soon."
