Title: Washington Offers Financial Reward for Hezbollah Leader

The United States has renewed its call for assistance in capturing Salman Raouf Salman, a leader of the Lebanese Hezbollah and responsible for planning and executing terrorist attacks in Lebanon and abroad. The U.S. State Department's Rewards for Justice program tweeted a request for help in locating him, offering a reward of $7 million. In May 2019, the department placed him on its terrorism lists and imposed sanctions, also designating a financial reward for information about him. The U.S. confirmed it will protect the privacy of anyone who provides information on Salman.

According to the U.S. Treasury Department, Salman Raouf Salman is also known by several names, including "Salman Al-Ridha," "Samuel Salman Al-Ridha," and "Andrei Marquez." Born on June 5, 1963, in Lebanon, he holds both Lebanese and Colombian citizenship, possessing several Colombian passports. Washington claims that Salman heads the armed foreign wing of Hezbollah and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Hezbollah’s terrorist attacks worldwide.
